Foreign
economic JSC "Techsnabexport" carries out
export of goods and services, produced by enterprises
of the Russian Federation Federal Agency for Atomic
Energy as well as import of state-of-the-art technological,
medical and other types of equipment.
The unique feature of JSC "Techsnabexport"
includes delivery of an entire range of nuclear fuel
cycle products and services.

All-Union
bureau "TENEX" was founded on the basis
of the All-Union Association Mashinoexport of
the Ministry of Foreign Trade of the USSR. Export-import
transactions related with radioactive and stable
isotopes, sources of ionizing radiations, rare-earth
metals, equipment and apparatuses applying radioactive
substances were transferred to "TENEX".

All-Union
bureau "TENEX" was reorganized into All-Union
Association "TENEX" of the Ministry of Foreign
Trade of the USSR. Export deliveries of uranium enrichment
services were also included into the range of the above
types of foreign trade activities.

All-Union
Association "TENEX" was incorporated into the
structure of the Ministry of Medium MachineBuilding
of the USSR, later the Ministry of Atomic Energy and
Industry of the USSR, later the Ministry of Atomic Energy
and Industry of the USSR, later the Ministry
of the Russian Federation for Atomic Energy 1998, and currently the
Federal Agency for Atomic Energy, the
Association started export deliveries of the fuel assemblies.

Joint-Stock
Company "Techsnabexport" became the assigne of the All-Union
Association "TENEX" related to all contracts
and agreements concluded previously as well as to the
right and liabilities. Pursuant to the Russian-American
Intergovernmental Agreement "On use of highly-enriched
uranium (HEU) concluded the executive contract for deliveies
of low-enriched uranium (LEU) from HEU derived from
dismantled nuclear warheads to be used as a fuel for
nuclear power plants (NPP) (HEU-LEU Contract).

Structural
changes and innovations in the activities of the Company
were performed targeted at perfection of the managment
structure and search for novel mutually beneficial and
effective forms of cooperation. Joint Stock Company
"Techsnabexport" suggested a number of novel products
and services enlarged a range of services in the field
of nuclear fuel cycle.

"TENEX"
obtained the license of Gosatomnadzor (Nuclear and Radiation
Safety Authority of Russia) for nuclear materials management
that enabled the Company to perform the activities of
nuclear materials management at all stages of production
and delivery of services and products.

"Techsnabexport"
changes into the joint stock company with 100% stateowned
shares of the statutory capital.

| 2002
year |
JSC
"TENEX" has been authorized by the decree
of the Government of the Russian Federation to enter
into foreign trade deals related to the imports to Russia,
technological storage and reprocessing of the irradiated
fuel assemblies of the foreign-origin reactors.

JSC
"TENEX" participated in organization and holding of World
Nuclear Association Forum in Moscow. Joint Venture "Zarechnoye" (Kazakhstan) was registred.
