RUSSIAN NEW INITIATIVES"
Russia, Moscow, 8 - 12 September 2002
The Ministry of the Russian Federation for Atomic Energy and the Joint stock company "Techsnabexport" will arrange the International Conference "Irradiated Nuclear Fuel Management 2002: Russian New Initiatives" in Moscow, Russia, on September 8 - 12, 2002. The main purpose of the conference is to expand international cooperation in the field of irradiated nuclear fuel management.
About 150 participants
from Russian and foreign organizations and companies of the nuclear fuel cycle
have expressed their interest to attend this event including IAEA, Minatom,
U.S. DOS, U.S. DOE, U.S. Natural Resources Defense Council, USEC, Cogema,
BNFL, E.ON Kernkraft, RWE Nukem GmbH, Cameco Corp., Exelon, Duke Energy, Enresa,
